The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
When the earth is shaken by the shaking thereof, 1 And when the earth throws out its burdens, 2 And man says, “What has happened to it?” 3 On that day she shall tell her news, 4 as thy Sustainer will have inspired her to do! 5 On that Day will men proceed in companies sorted out, to be shown the deeds that they (had done). 6 Whosoever has done even an atom's weight of good will behold it; 7 And whosoever does evil equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 8
True are the words of God the Almighty.
