The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

When the earth is shaken by the shaking thereof, 1 And Earth yieldeth up her burdens, 2 when man asks, "What is happening to her?"; 3 On that Day will she declare her tidings: 4 for that her Lord has inspired her. 5 On that day men will return towards their Lord, in different groups, in order to be shown their deeds. 6 So, whoever does an atom's weight of good shall see it; 7 and whoso has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
