Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the snorting courses, 1 Striking sparks of fire 2 while running during a raid at dawn, 3 And therein raising dust. 4 Then rush thereby upon an assembly: 5 Verily! Man (disbeliever) is ungrateful to his Lord; 6 and surely he is a witness against that! 7 And indeed he loves wealth to the extreme. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not - when that which is in the graves shall be ransacked? 9 and all that is [hidden] in men's hearts is bared 10 On that day their Lord surely knows all about them! 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
