Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

Have you seen him who denies the Recompense? 1 Such is the one who repulses the orphans away, 2 And does not encourage the feeding of the poor. 3 So woe to those that pray 4 who are heedless of their prayers (delaying them from their prescribed times), 5 Who dissimulate 6 And refuse Al-Ma'un (small kindnesses e.g. salt, sugar, water, etc.). 7

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
