So did you observe him who turned away? 33 And gave a little and [then] refrained? 34 Hath he knowledge of the Unseen so that he seeth? 35 Or has he not been informed of what was in the scriptures of Moses 36 and Abraham, he who paid his debt in full? 37 That no one who carries a burden bears another's load; 38 and that man shall have nothing but what he has striven for, 39 And that his effort will be seen. 40 Then he will be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense 41 And that to your Lord is your returning; 42 and that it is He who makes to laugh, and that makes to weep, 43 and that it is He who causes to die, and causes to live 44 And that He created pairs, the male and the female 45 from an ejected drop of sperm; 46 That the second creation is incumbent on Him; 47 It is He who grants people temporary and durable wealth. 48 and that it is He alone who sustains the brightest star; 49 And that He destroyed the first [people of] 'Aad 50 And the Thamud nor gave them a lease of perpetual life. 51 and before them the people of Noah who were even more unjust and insolent; 52 And the overthrown cities did He overthrow, 53 and then covered them from sight forever. 54 About which, then, of thy Sustainer's powers canst thou [still] remain in doubt? 55 This is a warner, of the warners of old. 56 The Imminent is imminent; 57 apart from God none can disclose it. 58 Do ye then wonder at this recital? 59 And you laugh at it and weep not, 60 And ye are behaving proudly. 61 So prostrate yourselves before God and worship him. ۩ 62
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
