The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 Who created and proportioned 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 And Who brings forth herbage, 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 REMIND, THEN, [others of the truth, regardless of] whether this reminding [would seem to] be of use [or not]: 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 The one who will enter the biggest fire. 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
