The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
When the earth is shaken with its [final] earthquake 1 and it throws out its burden, 2 And man cries (distressed): 'What is the matter with her?'- 3 On that Day it will relate all her news, 4 Because your Lord sent a command to it. 5 That day people will proceed separately to be shown their deeds. 6 So whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it, 7 And whosoever does evil equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 8
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
