And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138
