The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the heaven with its impregnable castles; 1 and [then bethink thyself of] the promised Day, 2 And by the Day witnessing and the Day witnessed, 3 the people of the pit were destroyed 4 Fire supplied (abundantly) with fuel: 5 When they sat by it (fire), 6 and they were witnesses of what they did to the believers 7 Against these they had no grudge except that they believed in Allah, the Most Mighty, the Most Praiseworthy, 8 Him to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth! And Allah is Witness to all things. 9 Surely those who tormented the believing men and the believing women and then did not repent, theirs shall be the chastisement of Hell, and theirs shall be the chastisement of burning. 10 Lo! those who believe and do good works, theirs will be Gardens underneath which rivers flow. That is the Great Success. 11 Stern indeed is your Lord's punishment. 12 Surely it is He who originates, and brings again, 13 And He is the Forgiving, and the Loving. 14 Owner of the throne, the Glorious 15 Doer of whatsoever He intendeth. 16 Hast thou received the story of the hosts, 17 Of Firon and Samood? 18 But they who disbelieve are in [persistent] denial, 19 But Allah doth encompass them from behind! 20 Nay! This is a Glorious Quran, 21 (Inscribed) in a Tablet Preserved! 22

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
