In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
I CALL TO witness those who scatter (dust) by dispersing, 1 and the burden-bearers 2 then the easy runners (the ships); 3 And those who distribute (blessings) by command, 4 that what you are promised is certainly true 5 And verily the Requital is surely to befall. 6 By the heaven full of paths. 7 Verily, [O men,] you are deeply at variance as to what to believe: 8 Deluded away from the Qur'an is he who is deluded. 9 Slain be those who mould from their imaginations. 10 who are dazed in perplexity 11 They ask: “When will the Day of Judgement be?” 12 (It is) the day on which they shall be tried at the fire. 13 and will be told, "Suffer the torment which you wanted to experience immediately". 14 Verily the God-fearing will be amid Gardens and water-springs. 15 Taking that which their Lord will vouchsafe unto hem. Verily they have been before that well-doers. 16 They were in the habit of sleeping but little by night, 17 and in the mornings they would ask for forgiveness; 18 and in their wealth there was a rightful share for him who would ask and for the destitute. 19 AND ON EARTH there are signs [of God's existence, visible] to all who are endowed with inner certainty, 20 As also in your own selves: Will ye not then see? 21 In the heavens there is your sustenance and that which you were promised (Paradise). 22 So by the Lord of heaven and earth, it is as true as your speech. 23

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
