WHAT, THEN, is amiss with such as are bent on denying the truth, that they run about confusedly to and fro before thee, 36 (Sitting) in groups on the right and on the left (of you, O Muhammad SAW)? 37 Does every one of them hope to enter [by this means] a garden of bliss? 38 No, that is not like that! Verily, We have created them out of that which they know! 39 No, I swear by the Lord of the Easts and the Wests that We have the ability 40 To replace them by others better than they; and We are not to be outrun. 41 So leave them alone to plunge and play, until they encounter the Day which they are promised; 42 the Day when they rush out of their graves as if racing towards a signpost, 43 With lowered eyes, disgrace overcoming them; this is the day, which they had been promised. 44
