The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 who brings forth green pasture, 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 who remembers the name of his Lord and prays, shall indeed be successful. 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
