Elucidated (Fussilat)
54 verses, revealed in Mecca after Forgiver (Ghaafer) before Consultation (Al-Shooraa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Ha Mim. 1 A revelation from the most benevolent, ever-merciful, 2 A Book the verses of which are explained in detail, the Qur’an in Arabic for people of intellect. 3 Good tidings and a warning. But most of them turn away so that they hear not. 4 They say: “Our hearts are securely wrapped up against what you call us to, and in our ears is a heaviness, and between you and us there is a veil. So act; we too are acting.” 5 Say, "I am only a human being like yourselves. It has been revealed to me that your God is One God. So take the straight path to Him and ask His forgiveness." Woe to those who associate others with Him, 6 Who do not give a due share of their wealth for the welfare of others, and do not believe in the Hereafter. 7 For those who believe and work deeds of righteousness is a reward that will never fail. 8

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
