The Cheaters (Al-Mutaffifeen)
36 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Spider (Al-Ankaboot) before The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
WOE UNTO THOSE who give short measure: 1 Those who, when they have to receive by measure from men, demand full measure, 2 Whereas when they give others after measuring or weighing, they give them less! 3 Do they not think that they will be called to account?- 4 On a Mighty Day, 5 A Day when (all) mankind will stand before the Lord of the Worlds? 6 No! Indeed, the record of the wicked is in sijjeen. 7 What could let you know what the Sijjeen is! 8 A record of misdeeds written. 9 Woe on that Day to those who belied it, 10 who cry lies to the Day of Doom; 11 And none belieth it save each trespasser, sinner. 12 And when Our revelations are rehearsed unto him, he saith: fables of the ancients! 13 No! Rather, the stain has covered their hearts of that which they were earning. 14 Indeed! On that Day a barrier will be set between them and their Lord, 15 Then verily they will be roasted into the Scorch. 16 And it will be said (unto them): This is that which ye used to deny. 17 Surely the ledger of the pious will be in 'Illiyun (heights above the heights). 18 and what will make you understand what the 'Illiyyin is? -- 19 A written record, 20 witnessed by all who have [ever] been drawn close unto God. 21 Most surely the righteous shall be in bliss, 22 resting on couches, looking around. 23 On their faces you will see the glow of beatitude. 24 They will be given a drink of pure wine, sealed, 25 which have the fragrance of musk. This is the kind of place for which one should really aspire. 26 And it is mixed with Tasneem. 27 a fountain at which the chosen ones shall drink. 28 Those in sin used to laugh at those who believed, 29 and winked at one another as they passed them by. 30 And when they returned to their own folk, they returned jesting; 31 And upon seeing the Muslims, they used to say, “Indeed they have gone astray.” 32 But they were not Sent to be guardians over them! 33 But on this Day the believers will laugh at the unbelievers 34 as they sit on couches, gazing around. 35 The infidels have indeed been rewarded for that which they had been doing. 36
God the Almighty always says the truth.

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
