Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Ya Seen. 1 By the Quran, full of wisdom, 2 you (Prophet Muhammad) are truly among the Messengers sent 3 On a Straight Path (i.e. on Allah's religion of Islamic Monotheism). 4 (The Qur’an is) Sent down by the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 5 So that you may warn these people whose ancestors were not warned, they are therefore unaware. 6 Assuredly the word hath been justified against most of them, wherefore they shall not believe. 7 Indeed, We have put shackles on their necks, and they are to their chins, so they are with heads [kept] aloft. 8 And We have set a wall before them and a wall behind them, and covered the top – so they are unable to see anything. 9 It is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them for they shall not believe. 10 Thou canst but admonish such a one as follows the Message and fears the (Lord) Most Gracious, unseen: give such a one, therefore, good tidings, of Forgiveness and a Reward most generous. 11 We shall surely bring the dead back to life and We record what they send ahead and what they leave behind. We have recorded everything in a clear book. 12
