▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ So I swear by Mawaqi (setting or the mansions, etc.) of the stars (they traverse). 75 And most surely it is a very great oath if you only knew; 76 That (this) is indeed a noble Qur'an 77 In a Register well-protected; 78 Which none shall touch but those who are clean: 79 Sent down by the Lord Of The Creation. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 And make [the thanks for] your provision that you deny [the Provider]? 82 Why, then, when (the soul) cometh up to the throat (of the dying) 83 and that hour you are watching 84 And We are nigher unto him than ye are, but ye behold not 85 Then why, if you are not indebted (to Us for life), 86 Do ye not force it back, if ye are truthful? 87 But if he [the dying person] is one of those brought near to God, 88 Then happiness and bounty and a garden of bliss. 89 And if he is of those on the right hand, 90 Then [the angels will say], "Peace for you; [you are] from the companions of the right." 91 And if he is from the deniers, the astray, – 92 he will be welcomed with boiling water. 93 And roasting at hell-fire. 94 Most surely this is a certain truth. 95 Therefore glorify the name of your Lord, the Great. 96
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
