Al-Ahzaab 8 of 9
O Prophet, tell your wives and daughters, and the women of the faithful, to draw their wraps a little over them. They will thus be recognised and no harm will come to them. God is forgiving and kind. 59 ۞ THUS IT IS: if the hypocrites, and they in whose hearts is disease, and they who, by spreading false rumours, would cause disturbances in the City [of the Prophet] desist not [from their hostile doings]; We shall indeed give thee mastery over them, [O Muhammad] - and then they will not remain thy neighbours in this [city] for more than a little while: 60 They will be condemned wherever they are and will be sized and done away with for good. 61 That hath been the dispensation of Allah with those who have passed away afore; and thou shalt not find in the dispensation of Allah any change. 62 Men ask thee concerning the Hour: Say, "The knowledge thereof is with Allah (alone)": and what will make thee understand?- perchance the Hour is nigh! 63 God has rejected those who deny the truth and prepared for them a blazing Fire. 64 Wherein they will abide for ever. They will find (then) no protecting friend nor helper. 65 On that Day when their faces are turned about in the Fire, they shall say: 'Would that we had obeyed Allah and obeyed the Messenger' 66 And they will say, "Our Lord, indeed we obeyed our masters and our dignitaries, and they led us astray from the [right] way. 67 Our Lord! Oh, give them double torment and curse them with a mighty curse. 68

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
