WITH ALL THIS, man [often] says, "What! Once I am dead, shall I again be brought forth alive?" 66 Does he not remember that We created him when he did not exist? 67 By your Lord, We shall gather them and the devils together, then bring them crawling on their knees around Hell. 68 Then We shall carry off from every group those who were most stubborn in their opposition to the Gracious One, 69 Then surely it is We who are the Best Knower of these worthiest of being therein roasted. 70 and there is not one of you but shall pass through it: a decree from your Lord which must be fulfilled. 71 Then We will save those who feared Allah and leave the wrongdoers within it, on their knees. 72 And when Our clear verses are recited to them, the disbelievers say to the Muslims, “Which group has a better home, and a better alliance?” 73 And how many of the generations have We destroyed before them who were better in respect of goods and outward appearance! 74 Say: 'Whosoever is in error, let the All-merciful prolong his term for him! Till, when they see that they were threatened, whether the chastisement, or the Hour, then they shall surely know who is worse in place, and who is weaker in hosts.' 75 And Allah increases those who were guided, in guidance, and the enduring good deeds are better to your Lord for reward and better for recourse. 76 Hast thou then seen the (sort of) man who rejects Our Signs, yet says: "I shall certainly be given wealth and children?" 77 What, has he observed the Unseen, or taken a covenant with the All-merciful? 78 Indeed not. We shall record what he says and shall prolong the punishment for him. 79 And it is We only Who shall inherit what he says (belongs to him), and he will come to Us, alone. 80 And they have chosen Gods besides Allah, so that they may provide them strength! 81 Never; soon they will deny ever worshipping them, and will turn into their opponents. 82
