And when the caravan had departed, their father said: surely feel the smell of Yusuf, if ye think not that I am doting. 94 They said: "By Allah! truly thou art in thine old wandering mind." 95 Then, when the bearer of the glad tidings arrived, he cast it (the shirt) over his face, and he became clear-sighted. He said: "Did I not say to you, 'I know from Allah that which you know not. 96 They said: O our father! ask forgiveness of our faults for us, surely we were sinners. 97 He said: "I will ask my Lord for forgiveness for you, verily He! Only He is the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful." 98 Then when they came in to Yusuf, he took his parents to lodge with him and said: Enter safe into Egypt, if Allah please. 99 He helped his parents to a couch and they all fell down on their knees before him. He said, "My father, this is the interpretation of my dream. My Lord has made it come true! He was kind to me when He let me out of prison and brought you from the desert after Satan had brought about discord between me and my brethren. My Lord is the best planner in achieving what He will; He is All Knowing, and Truly Wise." 100 ۞ "O my Sustainer! Thou hast indeed bestowed upon me something of power, and hast imparted unto me some knowledge of the inner meaning of happenings. Originator of the heavens and the earth! Thou art near unto me in this world and in the life to come: let me die as one who has surrendered himself unto Thee, and make me one with the righteous!" 101 This is news of the unknown We reveal to you, for you were not present when Joseph's brothers agreed on their course of action, and devised their plot. 102 And most of mankind will not believe even if you desire it eagerly. 103 Even though you ask no recompense (for it). It is only a warning for all mankind. 104
