۞ No! I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 and, indeed, that is a most mighty oath, if you only knew -- 76 That it is a Recitation honourable. 77 In a Register well-protected; 78 which none but the pure may touch; 79 A revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 Do you, then, take this discourse in light esteem, 81 and do you make it your living to cry lies? 82 Then why do ye not (intervene) when (the soul of the dying man) reaches the throat,- 83 and that hour you are watching 84 And We are nearer to him than you are, but you cannot see. 85 Then why, if you are not indebted (to Us for life), 86 can you not cause that [ebbing life] to return - if what you claim is true? 87 And if the deceased was of those brought near to Allah, 88 then for him there shall be comfort and plenty and a Garden of Bliss; 89 And if one happens to be of those who have attained to righteousness, 90 (For him is the salutation), "Peace be unto thee", from the Companions of the Right Hand. 91 If it is of those who have rejected the Truth and have gone astray, 92 Then an entertainment of boiling water. 93 and a roasting in Hell. 94 Verily this! this is the very truth. 95 So exalt the Name of your Lord, the Great. 96
