The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
78 verses, revealed in Medina after Thunder (Al-Ra'ad) before The Human (Al-Insan)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ The Most Merciful 1 It is He Who has taught the Qur'an. 2 He created man, 3 He taught him eloquent speech. 4 [At His behest] the sun and the moon run their appointed courses; 5 And the plants and the trees prostrate (for Him). 6 And the sky He hath uplifted; and He hath set the measure, 7 so that you should not transgress the measure. 8 But observe the measure strictly, nor fall short thereof. 9 And the earth hath He appointed for (His) creatures, 10 therein fruits, and palm-trees with sheaths, 11 And grain chaffed and other food. 12 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? 13 He created man of clay like the potter's, 14 And He created Jinns from fire free of smoke: 15 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 16 He is the Lord of the East and West through all seasons. 17 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? 18 He has set two seas in motion that flow side by side together, 19 Between them is a barrier which they cannot pass. 20 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 21 Out of these two [bodies of water] come forth pearls, both great and small. 22 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 23 His are the ships displayed upon the sea, like banners. 24 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 25

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
