They will ask you about the mountains. Tell them: "My Lord will uproot them from the base, 105 and leave them a desolate waste, 106 “In which you shall neither see ups nor downs.” 107 On that day they will run after a caller, there will be no deviation in it; and voices shall become hushed before the Most Gracious, so you will not hear except a faint sound. 108 On that day shall no intercession avail except of him whom the Beneficent Allah allows and whose word He is pleased with. 109 He knoweth (all) that is before them and (all) that is behind them, while they cannot compass it in knowledge. 110 ۞ And [on that Day] all faces will be humbled before the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsistent Fount of All Being; and undone shall be he who bears [a burden of] evildoing 111 but those who have believed and done good works shall fear neither wrong nor injustice. 112 And thus We have sent it down, an Arabic Recitation, and have propounded variously therein of the threats, that haply they may fear, or that it may generate in them some admonition. 113 So high [above all] is Allah, the Sovereign, the Truth. And, [O Muhammad], do not hasten with [recitation of] the Qur'an before its revelation is completed to you, and say, "My Lord, increase me in knowledge." 114 And indeed We made a covenant with Adam before, but he forgot, and We found on his part no firm will-power. 115
