Say thou; my Lord! if Thou wilt shew me that wherewith they are threatened. 93 then do not include me, my Lord, among these wrong-doing people." 94 Assuredly, We are able to show thee that We promise them. 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We are Best Aware of that which they allege. 96 And say: My Lord! I seek refuge in Thee from suggestions of the evil ones, 97 I seek your protection should they approach me." 98 [AS FOR THOSE who will not believe in the life to come, they go on lying to themselves] until, when death approaches any of them, he prays: "O my Sustainer! Let me return, let me return [to life,] 99 so that I might act righteously in whatever I have failed [aforetime]!" Nay, it is indeed but a [meaningless] word that he utters: for behind those [who leave the world] there is a barrier [of death] until the Day when all will be raised from the dead! 100 Then, when the trumpet [of resurrection] is blown, no ties of kinship will on that Day prevail among them, and neither will they ask about one another. 101 Then he whose balances shall be heavy - these! they are the blissful ones. 102 And as for him whose good deeds are light, these are they who shall have lost their souls, abiding in hell 103 The Fire shall scorch their faces, exposing their jaws. 104 "Were not My messages read out to you? But you denied them." 105 They will say, "Our Lord, our wretchedness overcame us, and we were a people astray. 106 Our Lord, remove us from it, and if we were to return [to evil], we would indeed be wrongdoers." 107 He (Allah) will say: "Remain you in it with ignominy! And speak you not to Me!" 108 "Indeed there was a group among My bondmen who said, 'Our Lord! We have accepted faith, therefore forgive us and have mercy on us, and You are the Best Among The Merciful.' 109 But you took them for a laughing-stock, till they made you forget My remembrance, mocking at them. 110 “Indeed this day I have rewarded them for their endurance, so that it is they who are the successful.” 111 He will say: How long tarried ye in the earth, counting by years? 112 They will say, "We remained a day or part of a day; ask those who enumerate." 113 He will say, "You stayed not but a little - if only you had known. 114 Did you think that We had created you only for play, and that you would never be returned to Us' 115 Then, exalted be God, the true King, there is no deity except Him, the Lord of the Glorious Throne. 116 And whosoever calleth, along with Allah, unto god, of whom he hath no warranty, then his reckoning is only with his Lord; verily thrive will not the infidels. 117 And (O Muhammad) say: My Lord! Forgive and have mercy, for Thou art Best of all who show mercy. 118
Almighty God's Truth.
