In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ TA SIN MIM. 1 These are verses of the clear Book. 2 Perhaps, [O Muhammad], you would kill yourself with grief that they will not be believers. 3 If We will, We can send down a Sign to them from heaven, so their necks will be humbled to it. 4 And there does not come to them a new reminder from the Beneficent Allah but they turn aside from it. 5 So they have indeed rejected (the truth), therefore the news of that which they mock shall soon come to them. 6 Do they not look at the earth,- how many noble things of all kinds We have produced therein? 7 Surely in this there is a sign, yet most of them would not believe: 8 Your Lord is surely mighty and merciful. 9

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
