۞ And We inspired to Moses, "Travel by night with My servants; indeed, you will be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to the cities (to mobilise troops) 53 [And said], "Indeed, those are but a small band, 54 "And they are raging furiously against us; 55 And most surely we are a vigilant multitude. 56 We deprived them (the unbelievers) of gardens, springs, 57 and [deprived them of their erstwhile] station of honour!" 58 Thus (were those things taken from them) and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 At sunrise, they followed them. 60 When the two groups came close to each other, the companions of Moses said, "We will be caught". 61 [Musa (Moses)] said: "Nay, verily! With me is my Lord, He will guide me." 62 Then We inspired Musa (Moses) (saying): "Strike the sea with your stick." And it parted, and each separate part (of that sea water) became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 We also brought the other party close to the same spot, 64 We delivered Moses and every one with him, 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Verily herein is a sign; but most of them are not believers. 67 And verily, your Lord! He is truly the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 68
