The Poets (Alshu'araa')
227 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah) before The Ant (Al-Naml)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of a Book luminous. 2 It may be thou frettest thy soul with grief, that they do not become Believers. 3 If We list, We can send down unto them a sign from the heaven so that their necks would become to it submissive. 4 But never fresh remembrance comes to them from the All-merciful, except they turn away from it. 5 They have called (our revelation) lies. They will soon learn the consequences of what they mocked. 6 Observe they not the earth, how much We make to grow therein of every fruitful kind? 7 Most surely there is a sign in that, but most of them will not believe. 8 Verily Your Lord is Infinitely Mighty, Most Compassionate. 9

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
