۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities musterers: 53 They announced “These people are a small group.” 54 "And verily, they have done what has enraged us; 55 “And indeed we are an alert army.” 56 Then We drave them forth from gardens and springs. 57 And treasures and honorable station - 58 Thus it was: but [in the course of time] We were to bestow all these [things] as a heritage on the children of Israel. 59 So the Firaun’s people followed them at sunrise. 60 And when the two bodies saw each other, the people of Moses said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Said he, 'No indeed; surely my Lord is with me; He will guide me.' 62 Then We revealed to Moses, (commanding him): "Strike the sea with your rod." Thereupon the sea split up, and then each became like the mass of a huge mount. 63 Then We brought the two parties closer. 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, every one; 65 and then We caused the others to drown. 66 Verily there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 67 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 68
