[O Men!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built, 27 He raised high its height, then put it into a right good state. 28 and darkened its night and brought forth its morning. 29 And after that He spread the earth. 30 after that bringing forth from it its water and its pasture land, 31 then set-up firmly the mountains. 32 all this as provision for you and your cattle. 33 But when the great disaster cometh, 34 The day when man remembers all that he had done, 35 And the Scorch will be made apparent to any one who beholdeth. 36 Then, for such as had transgressed all bounds, 37 And who preferred the life of the world, 38 Then surely the hell, that is the abode. 39 But unto him who shall have stood in fear of his Sustainer's Presence, and held back his inner self from base desires, 40 Then indeed, Paradise will be [his] refuge. 41 They ask you, [O Muhammad], about the Hour: when is its arrival? 42 What concern do you have regarding its explanation? (You are not bound to tell them) 43 [seeing that] with thy Sustainer alone rests the beginning and the end [of all knowledge] thereof? 44 You are only a warner to him who has a fear of it. 45 It shall be as if; on the day they see it, they have but tarried for an evening, or its forenoon. 46
