The people of Noah [too] gave the lie to [one of God's] message-bearers 105 When their fellowman Nooh said to them, “Do you not fear?” 106 I am a trustworthy messenger for you: 107 Therefore guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me 108 I ask no payment from you for my preaching. The Lord of the Universe will give me my reward. 109 so fear God and obey me." 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe in you when no one has followed you except the lowest ones". 111 (Noah) said, "I have no knowledge of their deeds. 112 Their reckoning rests with none but my Sustainer: if you could but understand [this]! 113 And I am not going to drive away the believers; 114 I am none but a plain warner." 115 They said: "If you cease not, O Nuh (Noah)! You will surely be among those stoned (to death)." 116 He prayed: "O Lord, verily my people accuse me of lies. 117 Therefore judge You between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me." 118 Wherefore We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 and drowned the rest. 120 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 121 surely your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 122
