The people of Lot rejected the Messengers, branding them liars. 160 When their brother Lot said to them, "Will you not fear God? 161 I have been sent as a trusted messenger to you. 162 "So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me. 163 "No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the lord of the Worlds. 164 "Must you, of all people, [lustfully] approach men, 165 keeping yourselves aloof from all the [lawful] spouses whom your Sustainer has created for you? Nay, but you are people who transgress all bounds of what is right!" 166 They said: If you desist not, O Lut! you shall surely be of those who are expelled. 167 He said: "I am, indeed, of those who disapprove with severe anger and fury your (this evil) action (of sodomy). 168 Lord, save me and my family from their deeds." 169 Then We delivered him and all his family 170 Except an old woman (his wife) among those who remained behind. 171 Thereafter We annihilated the rest. 172 and rained down upon them a rain [of destruction]: and dire is such rain upon all who let themselves be warned [to no avail]! 173 In this there is an evidence of the Truth, but many of them did not have any faith. 174 Verily Your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Most Compassionate. 175

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
