The people of the Wood too called the messengers liars. 176 What time Shu'aib said unto them: fear ye not? 177 I am a trustworthy Messengers. 178 Therefore guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me: 179 I ask of you no wage for this; my wage is only with the Lord of the Worlds. 180 ۞ Fill up the measure, do not be among the cheats, 181 "And weigh with the true and straight balance. 182 and do not defraud people in their property or spread evil in the land. 183 And fear He who created you and the former creation." 184 They said: "You are no more than one of those who have been bewitched, 185 “You are just a human like us, and indeed we consider you a liar.” 186 “Therefore cause a part of the sky to fall upon us, if you are of the truthful.” 187 He said: "My Lord knows best what ye do." 188 But they belied him, so the torment of the day of shadow (a gloomy cloud) seized them, indeed that was the torment of a Great Day. 189 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 190 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 191
