THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
