The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By those who range themselves in ranks, 1 And those who drive away (the wicked) with reproof 2 and those who recite the Exhortation; 3 Verily, most surely, your God is One 4 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, and Lord of the easts. 5 We have adorned the lower heaven with the adornment of the planets, 6 (For beauty) and for guard against all obstinate rebellious evil spirits, 7 They cannot listen to the exalted assembly and they are thrown at from every side, 8 and are repelled. Theirs is an unceasing chastisement. 9 Except one who sometimes steals a part, so a blazing flame goes after him. 10 Just ask their opinion: are they the more difficult to create, or the (other) beings We have created? Them have We created out of a sticky clay! 11 Aye! thou marvellest, and they scoff. 12 And when they are reminded, they mind not, 13 When they are shown a sign, they scoff at it 14 and they say, 'This is nothing but manifest sorcery. 15 When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then, forsooth, be raised (again)? 16 "And also our fathers of old?" 17 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Yes, and you shall then be humiliated." 18 So that is just a single jolt, thereupon they will begin staring. 19 And will say, “O our misfortune!” It will be said to them, “This is the Day of Justice.” 20 This is the day of the judgment which you called a lie. 21
