1/2 Hizb 45

۞ “Gather all the unjust persons and their spouses, and all that they used to worship!” 22 Besides Allah, then lead them to the way to hell. 23 and stop them there for questioning: 24 "What is the matter with you that you do not help each other?" 25 But they, that Day, are in surrender. 26 And they will advance toward each other mutually questioning. 27 They will say: "It was ye who used to come to us from the right hand (of power and authority)!" 28 But they reply: 'Rather, you were not believers. 29 "Nor had we any authority over you. Nay, it was ye who were a people in obstinate rebellion! 30 So the word of our Lord has come into effect upon us; indeed, we will taste [punishment]. 31 We mislead you and we ourselves had also gone astray." 32 So they shall on that day be sharers in the chastisement one with another. 33 Surely thus do We deal with the guilty. 34 They were the ones, who on being told, "God is only One," become puffed-up with pride 35 And they used to say, “Shall we forsake our Gods upon the sayings of a mad poet?” 36 (They say so although) he brought the Truth and confirmed the veracity of the Messengers. 37 Now certainly you shall be tasting the painful chastisement, 38 “And you will not be compensated except for your deeds.” 39 Except the chosen creatures of God, 40 For them there will be a known provision (in Paradise). 41 Fruits! And they shall be honoured. 42 In gardens of pleasure, 43 Facing each other on Thrones (of Dignity): 44 Round shall be passed a cup unto them filled with limpid drink: 45 clear, delightful to those who drink it: 46 Free from headiness; nor will they suffer intoxication therefrom. 47 And with them will be chaste females, restraining their glances (desiring none except their husbands), with wide and beautiful eyes. 48 (Pure) as they were hidden eggs (of the ostrich). 49 Then shall some of them advance to others, questioning each other. 50 A speaker from among them shall say: Surely I had a comrade of mine, 51 who would say, "Are you a confirmer? 52 When we are dead and have become dust and bones, are we indeed going to be requited? 53 He said: 'Will you look down?' 54 He will look down and see him in hell. 55 'By God', he said, 'you had almost ruined me. 56 Had it not been for the grace of my Lord I too would have been there (in Hell). 57 What then, shall we not die 58 Except for our first death, and we will not be punished?" 59 Verily, this - this indeed - is the triumph supreme!" 60 for which one must strive hard. 61 Is this better as a welcome, or the tree of Zaqqum? 62 which We have made as a test for the wrongdoers. 63 (Zaqqum) is a tree which grows from the deepest part of hell, 64 Its crop is as it were the heads of devils 65 The dwellers of hell will eat that fruit and fill-up their bellies. 66 Then on the top of that they will be given boiling water to drink so that it becomes a mixture (of boiling water and Zaqqum in their bellies). 67 And thereafter verily their return is unto the Flaming Fire. 68 They found their fathers had gone astray; 69 and [now] they make haste to follow in their footsteps! 70 And certainly most of the ancients went astray before them, 71 And indeed We had sent Heralds of warnings among them. 72 and behold, how was the end of them that were warned, 73 except for God's sincere servants. 74
