Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
