We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 and at night.
