And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 AND, BEHOLD, Lot was indeed one of Our message-bearers; 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
