۞ We sent a revelation to Moses telling him to leave with our servants during the night; they would be pursued (by the Pharaoh). 52 So Firon sent heralds into the cities; 53 'These' they said, 'are a small band, 54 who have certainly provoked our wrath. 55 But we are a fully accounted army." 56 Then We drave them forth from gardens and springs. 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable place. 58 Even so. And We gave them as a heritage to the children of Israel. 59 Then they followed them at the sunrise; 60 And when the two hosts saw each other, those with Moses said: Lo! we are indeed caught. 61 Moses said: "Certainly not. My Lord is with me; He will direct me." 62 Then We inspired Moses, saying: Smite the sea with thy staff. And it parted, and each part was as a mountain vast. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, every one; 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in this is surely a sign, and most of them were not Muslims. 67 And yet, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 68
