Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138
