S (Saad)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Suad, I swear by the Quran, full of admonition. 1 But those who disbelieve are in pride and dissension. 2 How many a generation have We destroyed afore them, and they cried when there was not time of fleeing. 3 And they wonder that there has come to them a warner from among themselves. And the disbelievers say, "This is a magician and a liar. 4 "Has he made the aliha (gods) (all) into One Ilah (God - Allah). Verily, this is a curious thing!" 5 Their leaders departed, saying, "Walk away! Hold fast to your deities. This is clearly a conspiracy. 6 “We never heard of this even in Christianity, the latest religion; this is clearly a newly fabricated matter.” 7 Hath unto him the admonition been sent down from amongst us! Yea! they are in doubt concerning My admonition. Yea! they have not yet tasted My torment. 8 Or do they [think that they] own the treasures of thy Sustainer's grace - [the grace] of the Almighty, the Giver of Gifts? 9 Or is theirs the kingdom of the heavens and earth and of what between them is? Why, then let them ascend the cords! 10 But there - will be put to flight even a host of confederates. 11 Before them (were many who) belied Messengers, the people of Nuh (Noah); and 'Ad; and Fir'aun (Pharaoh) the man of stakes (with which he used to punish the people), 12 And [the tribe of] Thamud and the people of Lot and the companions of the thicket. Those are the companies. 13 Each of them denied the messengers, so My penalty was justified. 14
