Proclaim (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “I am purely a Herald of Warning – and there is no God except Allah, the One, the All Dominant.” 65 “Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them – the Almighty, the Oft Forgiving.” 66 Say: "This is a momentous message, 67 from which you turn away. 68 I had no knowledge of the Highest Chiefs when they disputed; 69 had it not been revealed unto me [by God] - to no other end than that I might convey [unto you] a plain warning. 70 (Remember) When your Lord said to the angels, “I will create a human from clay.” – 71 And when I have made him and have breathed into him of My spirit. Fall down in homage before him." 72 And the angels did obeisance, all of them, 73 except Iblis who puffed himself up with pride and became a disbeliever. 74 (Allah) said: "O Iblis (Satan)! What prevents you from prostrating yourself to one whom I have created with Both My Hands. Are you too proud (to fall prostrate to Adam) or are you one of the high exalted?" 75 He replied: “I am nobler than he. You created me from fire and created him from clay.” 76 (God) said: "Then go hence, ostracised. 77 Upon you will be My damnation till the Day of Doom." 78 (Iblis) said: "O my Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are raised." 79 Allah said: verily, thou art of those respited. 80 until the day of the known time.' 81 He said, "By Your Glory, I shall seduce all of them (children of Adam). 82 Save Thy bondmen among them Sincere. 83 [Allah] said, "The truth [is My oath], and the truth I say - 84 I shall assuredly fill Gehenna with thee, and with whosoever of them follows thee, all together.' 85 Say: "No reward do I ask of you for this (Qur'an), nor am I a pretender. 86 It, (the Quran), is nothing but a reminder to you from the Lord of the Universe. 87 And ye will come in time to know the truth thereof. 88
