Or do they, in whose hearts there is a sickness, believe that Allah will not bring their failings to light? 29 Now had We so willed, We could have shown them clearly to thee, so that thou wouldst know them for sure as by a visible mark: but [even so,] thou wilt most certainly recognize them by the tone of their voice. And God knows all that you do, [O men;] 30 We shall certainly test you until We know those of you who truly strive and remain steadfast, and will ascertain about you. 31 Verily those who have disbelieved and have hindered others from the way of Allah and have opposed the apostle after the guidance had become manifest unto them, shall not hurt Allah at all, and anon He shall render their works of non effect. 32 Believers, obey Allah and obey the Messenger and do not cause your works to be nullified. 33 ۞ Verily Allah shall not forgive those who disbelieved and barred others from Allah's Way and clung to their unbelief until their death. 34 Therefore, do not be weakened and call out for peace, you shall be the upper ones, and Allah is with you and will not deprive you of your labors. 35 The worldly life is only a childish game. If you have faith and piety, you will receive your rewards and God will not ask you to pay for them. 36 If He should ask you for it and urge you, you will be niggardly, and He will bring forth your malice. 37 Behold! You are those who are called to spend in the Cause of Allah, yet among you are some who are niggardly. And whoever is niggardly, it is only at the expense of his ownself. But Allah is Rich (Free of all wants), and you (mankind) are poor. And if you turn away (from Islam and the obedience of Allah), He will exchange you for some other people, and they will not be your likes. 38
