Say (O Muhammad SAW): " My Lord! If You would show me that with which they are threatened (torment), 93 then do not include me, my Lord, among these wrong-doing people." 94 And indeed, We are able to show you what We have promised them. 95 Repel evil with the best deeds; We well know the matters that they fabricate. 96 And say, "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the incitements of the devils, 97 O my Lord, I seek refuge in You lest they attend me' 98 Until, when death comes to one of them (those who join partners with Allah), he says: "My Lord! Send me back, 99 That I may work righteously in that which I have left. By no means! It is but a word he uttereth; and before them is a barrier until the Day when they shall be raised. 100 And when the trumpet is blown there will be no kinship among them that day, nor will they ask of one another. 101 Then those whose balance (of good deeds) is heavy,- they will attain salvation: 102 and he whose scales are light -- they have lost their souls in Gehenna dwelling forever, 103 The fire shall scorch their faces, and they therein shall be in severe affliction. 104 [It will be said]. "Were not My verses recited to you and you used to deny them?" 105 They will say: Our Lord! Our evil fortune conquered us, and we were erring folk. 106 O our Lord! take us forth from it; then if we return, we shall be wrong-doers indeed. 107 Allah will say, “Remain rebuked in it, and do not speak to Me.” 108 Among My servants, there were those who said, "Lord, We believe, so forgive us and have mercy on us. You are the best one to show mercy." 109 "You mocked and laughed at them until you forgot all about Me. 110 Now today I have recompensed them for their patient endurance; they are the triumphant.' 111 And He will ask: 'How many years did you live on earth' 112 They will say, "We stayed a day or part of a day. Ask those who have kept count." 113 He will say: You did tarry but a little-- had you but known (it): 114 Then did you think that We created you uselessly and that to Us you would not be returned?" 115 Exalted then be God, the King, the Real. There is no god but He, the Lord of the glorious throne. 116 And whosoever calls upon another god with God, whereof he has no proof, his reckoning is with his Lord; surely the unbelievers shall not prosper. 117 And say: 'My Lord, forgive and have mercy, for You are the Best of the merciful' 118
God the Almighty always says the truth.
