Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

CONSIDER the bright morning hours, 1 And [by] the night when it covers with darkness, 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you nor does He dislike you! 3 and the Hereafter will indeed be better for you than the present life; 4 For your Lord will certainly give you, and you will be content. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter? 6 And He found you lost and guided [you], 7 And found you in need, so made you prosperous? 8 Therefore, treat not the orphan with oppression, 9 Therefor the beggar drive not away, 10 But the bounty of the Lord - rehearse and proclaim! 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
