And indeed We have created man and We know what his soul instils in him; and We are nearer to him than the hearts artery. 16 Behold, two (guardian angels) appointed to learn (his doings) learn (and noted them), one sitting on the right and one on the left. 17 Not a word does he (or she) utter, but there is a watcher by him ready (to record it). 18 The trance of death will come revealing the truth: that is what you were trying to escape. 19 The trumpet will be sounded. This is the Day [you were] warned of. 20 And every soul cometh, along with it a driver and a witness. 21 'Thou wast heedless of this; therefore We have now removed from thee thy covering, and so thy sight today is piercing.' 22 And his comrade shall say, 'This is what I have, made ready.' 23 Do cast into hell every ungrateful, rebellious one, 24 who hinders good, exceeds the limits, is immersed in doubts, 25 Who made [as equal] with Allah another deity; then throw him into the severe punishment." 26 ۞ His companion (Satan devil)] will say: "Our Lord! I did not push him to transgress, (in disbelief, oppression, and evil deeds) but he was himself in error far astray." 27 God will say, "Do not quarrel in My presence. I gave you the warning beforehand 28 My Word is not changed; and never do I inflict the least wrong upon My servants.” 29
