And We have already created man and know what his soul whispers to him, and We are closer to him than [his] jugular vein 16 When the two receivers receive, seated on the right and on the left. 17 The human being will certainly experience the agony of death 18 and (the human being will be told), "This is what you had been trying to run away from". 19 and [in the end] the trumpet [of resurrection] will be blown: that will be the Day of a warning fulfilled. 20 And every soul will come, with it a driver and a witness. 21 “You were indeed neglectful of this, so We have removed the veil for you, and your eyesight is sharp this day.” 22 And his accompanying angel said, “This is the record of your deeds, available with me.” 23 (They will be told,) "Throw into hell every persistent disbelievers, 24 "Hinderer of good, transgressor, doubter, 25 Who sets up another god with Allah, so do cast him into severe chastisement. 26 ۞ His companion will say: Our Lord! I did not lead him into inordinacy but he himself was in a great error. 27 He shall say, 'Dispute not before Me! For I sent you beforehand -- the threat. 28 There is no changing of My word, nor am I unjust to My creatures." 29
