▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But for such as fear the time when they will stand before (the Judgment Seat of) their Lord, there will be two Gardens- 46 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 47 Having numerous branches. 48 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 49 In [each of] these two [gardens] two springs will flow. 50 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 51 In both of them are two pairs of every fruit. 52 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 53 [In such a paradise the blest will dwell,] reclining upon carpets lined with rich brocade; and the fruit of both these gardens will be within easy reach. 54 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 55 In the midst of these shall be maidens with modest, restrained glances; maidens whom no man or jinn has ever touched before. 56 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 57 As (lovely as) rubies and as (beautiful as) coral. 58 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 59 Is there any reward for good other than good? 60 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 61 Besides this, there will be two other gardens. 62 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 63 Densely covered with foliage, appearing dark. 64 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 65 In them (both) will be two springs gushing forth water. 66 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 67 With fruits in them, and dates and pomegranates -- 68 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 69 In the midst of these will be maidens, good and comely. 70 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? -- 71 with big, black and white beautiful eyes, dwelling in tents. 72 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 73 No man or jinn ever touched them before. 74 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 75 They will be reclining on plain green and beautifully printed cushions 76 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 77 Blest be the name of thine Lord, Owner Of Majesty and Beneficence! 78
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
