The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ When the Terror descends 1 There is no belying its coming to pass-- 2 The event will be abasing some, and exalting some. 3 When the earth will tremble, shivering. 4 and the mountains will crumble 5 And become dust dispersing. 6 [on that Day] you shall be divided into three groups. 7 Then (there will be) the Companions of the Right Hand;- What will be the Companions of the Right Hand? 8 Those on the Left -- how unlucky are those on the Left! 9 And those who surpassed have indeed excelled. 10 Those! they shall be the brought nigh, 11 in the Gardens of Delight, 12 A numerous company from among the first, 13 And a few from the later generations. 14 On couches wrought of gold, 15 reclining upon them, set face to face, 16 They will be served by immortal boys, 17 Carrying bowls and pitchers and cups filled with wine flowing before them. 18 Unheady, uninebriating; 19 And fruits such as they choose, 20 and with the flesh of any fowl that they may desire to eat; 21 And pure, beautiful ones, 22 like pearls preserved in their shells, 23 The reward for what they did. 24 There they shall hear no idle talk nor any sinful speech. 25 Other than "Peace, peace" the salutation. 26 The Companions of the Right Hand,- what will be the Companions of the Right Hand? 27 Among thornless lote-trees 28 And clusters of banana plants. 29 Lengthened shadows, 30 and flowing water 31 And fruit in plenty 32 never-ending and unforbidden. 33 And [upon] beds raised high. 34 Indeed, We have produced the women of Paradise in a [new] creation 35 Then We have made them virgins, 36 Devoted [to their husbands] and of equal age, 37 for the Companions of the Right 38

Notes and Instructions
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
