Nooh 2 of 2
Noah said: “My Lord, they did not pay heed to what I said, and followed those (nobles) whose possession of wealth and children has led them to an even greater loss. 21 and have devised a mighty device 22 "And they have said: 'You shall not leave your gods, nor shall you leave Wadd, nor Suwa', nor Yaghuth, nor Ya'uq, nor Nasr (names of the idols); 23 They have misled many and the unjust will achieve nothing but more error". 24 And so, because of their sins, they were drowned [in the great flood,] and were doomed to suffer the fire [of the hereafter]; and they found none who could succour them against God. 25 And Nuh said: my Lord! leave not upon the earth of the infidels one inhabitant. 26 for certainly if You should leave them (alive), they will mislead Your servants, and will beget none but sinners and utter unbelievers. 27 My Lord! forgive me and my parents and him who enters my house believing, and the believing men and the believing women; and do not increase the unjust in aught but destruction! 28
God the Almighty always says the truth.
