Al-Muddath-thir 2 of 2
Nay, by the Moon 32 And by oath of the night when it turns back. 33 And by the Dawn as it shineth forth,- 34 Surely, it is one of the gravest things, 35 A warning unto humankind 36 to everyone of you, whether he chooses to come forward or to hang back! 37 [On the Day of Judgment,] every human being will be held in pledge for whatever [evil] he has wrought 38 Except those on the Right, (i.e. the pious true believers of Islamic Monotheism); 39 who in their gardens will be enquiring 40 about the guilty ones: 41 'What thrusted you into Sakar?' 42 They will say, "We were not of those who prayed, 43 And we used not to feed the poor; 44 we indulged in vain arguments along with those who indulged in them; 45 "And we used to deny the Day of Judgment, 46 Until there came to us the certainty." 47 So no intercession of intercessors will be of any use to them. 48 If such will be the Day of Judgment, what is the matter with them? Why do they run away from guidance, 49 as though they were terrified asses 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 In fact every one of them wants to be given open books (like the prophets). 52 Nay! but they do not fear the hereafter. 53 Nay, verily. Lo! this is an Admonishment. 54 So whoever wills may heed advice from it. 55 But none will keep it in remembrance except as Allah wills: He is the Lord of Righteousness, and the Lord of Forgiveness. 56
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
